CODY SIBBALD LEGACY CLASSIC

As we prepare for the 10th Celebration of the Cody Sibbald Legacy Classic, we are honored to live by its moto; “to be inspired is great, but to inspire is incredible!” Our goal as a non-profit charity is to celebrate the participants, highlight our sponsors and give thanks to the community for helping us reach this milestone as we focus on inspiring youth with a passion in the agriculture industry. Cody may no longer be with us but his name has lived on through his legacy, as his legacy is shaping the youth in our agriculture industry. We believe that what is inspiring is what is woven into the lives of others. We created the Cody Sibbald Legacy Classic to not only keep our son’s memory alive but for our love for our industry and for the youth who have a passion in agriculture to thrive moving forward. We see these young enthusiasts as our next industry leaders and the importance of keeping agriculture strong for future generations to come. The Cody Sibbald Legacy Classic may be our legacy to keep Cody’s memory alive but this agriculture industry and the people in it are our family and there is no better family to raise your children in. As we look back on the last 10 years, we are honored to see the show has grown in size each year since the beginning, with 2025 hosting 220 youth as well as being awarded the “Best of the Barns favorite junior show title” in the spring of 2025. Credit for our success to the show over the past decade goes to every single person who has attended, to our outstanding sponsors, volunteers and participants because without all of you this event truly would not be as extraordinary as it is!

The Cody Sibbald Legacy Classic annually held May long weekend in Beechy, Saskatchewan, encompasses youth 21 years of age and younger from all 3 prairie provinces to not only exhibit their cattle but to show their passion for agriculture in various categories. We are excited for the 10th Celebration to be our biggest show yet, where the youth have the opportunity to win 18 Trophy Buckles, 53 Banners, $20,000 in Scholarships, plus prizes and prize money. As an added bonus each exhibitor also has a chance to win 5 elite key draw prizes, a 10th Celebration tribute prize and a one-year lease on a EBY Maverick Stock Trailer. New this year only for the anniversary we will be hosting a over age division where all past participants of CSLC have the opportunity to come exhibit one more time for not only bragging rights but also to take home a trophy buckle and banners!
